Position Title: Specialist - Logistics Tender Planning

Function: Global Logistics & Material Management 

Role Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated Logistics Tender Planner to join our Global Logistics Tendering and Planning team. This role plays a critical part in shaping and optimizing the global transportation network by providing analytical and planning support during the logistics tendering phase. The position involves end-to-end coordination, cost analysis, and continuous process improvement to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning activities during the logistics tendering phase
  • Create, update, and validate transportation plans for global shipments
  • Perform data analysis on budgets, actuals, and cost deviations
  • Manage logistics project budgets from pickup to port arrival, including forecasting and cost control
  • Monitor and manage detention, demurrage, and other additional logistics costs
  • Identify improvement opportunities through data-driven insights
  • Verify shipment execution and ensure alignment with planned transportation schedules
  • Review logistics contracts and ensure accurate cost understanding
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate transportation plans
  • Ensure timely planning and execution of future shipments
  • Maintain and support complex Excel-based documentation (large data sets, formulas, troubleshooting issues such as file corruption or add-in conflicts)

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Commerce, or related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, or data management
  • Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of logistics planning and supply chain operations
  • High proficiency in data analysis and numerical interpretation
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong accuracy in data handling
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work with cross-functional and global teams
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Structured, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in multinational or cross-border environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (mandatory)
  • Strong capabilities in data analytics and reporting
