YOUR TASKS:

 

  • Secure required capacities, lead times with suppliers, utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to coordinate material planning, track and manage material flow, ensuring timely material delivery.
  • Define supply chain by plant and issue demand forecasts to all suppliers.
  • Follow up on daily delivery and logistic operations, participate in designated communication channels to maintain supply consistency
  • Identify potential undersupply risks and take mitigation measures to reduce risk impacts.
  • Coordinate with strategic sourcing, plant MM, shipping, indirect spend, NAC planning & IE functions & OP Vs Master schedule
  • Working for establishing regional roles and responsibilities for key components & inbound logistics operations
  • Verify transportation resource availability based on demand, coordinate overall transportation arrangements, and monitor ETA and ETD.
  • Create purchasing requisitions in SAP system/electronic purchase requisition platform (eBANF) and review transportation-related invoices.
  • Verify and secure correct product packaging and customs declaration documents and be responsible for material handover from suppliers to destination prots of shipment in India.
  • Working capital optimization & secured delayed delivery claims i.e. OTD (on time delivery claims).
  • Create, update and maintain up to date logistic plan
  • Check transport availability according to forecasted demand, invoices for transports & Align deliveries with the plant.

 

YOUR  PROFILE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering &/or Business administration with proven track record as a supply chain professional.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role and proven supply chain competencies
  • High problem-solving skills with ability to work in a structured manner and to work effectively with experts from different departments, countries & cultures 
  • Willingness to frequently travel to suppliers’ facilities on demand and overseas travel up to 3 times per year. 
  • English (knowledge of German, Spanish or Chinese an asset)
