Position Title: Specialist – Blade Service Engineering (Level 1 Support)
Role Overview
The job holder is a key member of Blade Service Engineering First Level Support, responsible for providing 24x7 global first-line technical support for blade-related topics. The role focuses on initial assessment, categorization, and validation of blade issues through review of inspection reports and field inputs, and routing cases for further technical investigation where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Level 1 (L1) first contact for blade-related technical cases on a 24x7 shift-based model
- Perform initial screening, categorization, and prioritization of blade incidents
- Review and validate blade inspection reports and documentation
- Assign cases to Level 2 or specialist teams
- Maintain accurate updates in case management systems
- Escalate critical or safety-related cases
- Collaborate across global time zones
Candidate Requirements
Career & Job Experience:
- 3+ years experience in blade service, inspections, or technical support
- Basic understanding of blade design and composites
- Good English communication skills
- MS Office knowledge
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent
- Willingness to work 24x7 rotational shifts
