Position Title: Senior Engineer - Material Planner (Wind Projects)

Role Overview: The Senior Engineer - Material Planner ensures the timely availability of all components delivered to the sites. The role covers the full delivery planning cycle, from fulfilling the demands in the system (SAP) creating the corresponding POs to coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to secure on‑time delivery. This position provides strong exposure to global supply chain operations and collaboration across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure material deliveries according to project schedules and system demands
  • Create purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to secure confirmations and delivery dates
  • Coordinate closely with Sourcing, Material Handling, Quality, and Project Execution teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery reliability
  • Track missing parts, and escalation topics, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Coordinate with site teams for local deliveries and urgent needs
  • Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (dates, status, quantities) to support reliable planning
  • Prepare reports and track KPIs related to delivery performance, supplier reliability, and material readiness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and supplier coordination processes

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Required 2-5 years of experience in the composite, renewable energy, or blade manufacturing, automobile industries.
  • Experience in material planning, procurement, vendor coordination, or supply chain operations
  • Familiarity with SAP (MM or relevant modules) or other ERP systems
  • Strong follow‑up skills, attention to detail, and structured working style
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and suppliers
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to manage several priorities in parallel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of SAP (MM or relevant modules) or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in project‑based supply chains or EPC environments
  • Exposure to global supplier networks and logistics processes
  • Knowledge of planning or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience working with wind projects or renewable energy supply chains
