Non-Conformity Manager

Your Task:

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Use NC data to identify systemic weaknesses and improvement opportunities
  • Lead lessons learned and feedback loops
  • Contribute to process standardization and digitalization of NC workflows
  • Promote a proactive quality culture and early detection of issues

 

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions:

  • Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) (e.g. 5-Why, 8D, Fishbone)
  • Define and track corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure effectiveness of implemented actions and prevent recurrence
  • Drive structured problem-solving culture across project teams 

 

NC Process Management:

  • Manage the Non-Conformance (NC) process across all project phases
  • Ensure proper identification, classification, and registration of non-conformities
  • Monitor NCR lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely resolution 
  • Ensure traceability and documentation in the Quality Management System (QMS) 

 

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with:
    • Engineering
    • Procurement & Supply Chain 
    • Construction/site teams
    • Quality and inspection teams
  • Coordinate with project managers, PM operations, quality functions, engineering and 
    change management on NCR resolution
  • Ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders in complex NX environments

 

Reporting & Performance Monitoring 

  • Track, analyse, and report:
    • NC volume, aging, and closure rates
    • Recurring issues and systemic trends 
  • Develop and monitor quality KPIs related to non-conformities
  • Provide regular reporting to project and senior management 

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality Management
  • Very good English skills written and verbal (full professional proficiency)
  • 8–15+ years of experience in
    • Quality management 
    • NCR / non-conformance handling
    • Industrial environment, preferably wind or energy industry
  • Strong experience with QMS and non-conformance processes
  • Proficient software skills utilizing MS Office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SAP, and QMS systems
  • Six sigma / Lean Management
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset 
  • Stakeholder and interface management 
  • Process governance and compliance 
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional workflows 
  • Communication and influencing skills
