Roles and Responsibilities:
Process Oversight & Optimization
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Validate and standardize processes to ensure consistency and repeatability.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of process engineers and technical associates.
- Set clear goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Project Management
- Lead process improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
- Ensure timely execution of projects within budget and scope.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Promote a safe working environment through training and audits.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and organize training programs for process engineers and operators.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse process data to drive decisions.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
Change Management
- Lead change initiatives related to process upgrades, new equipment, or technology integration.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication of changes across teams.
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in the blade manufacturing industry and Minimum 5 years of experience in the process engineering department.
- Strong knowledge of glass fabric and process materials, including cutting and kitting, prefab, shell, finishing, tooling and material handling.
- Hands-on experience in change management and tooling processes.
- Proficient in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies. Skilled in problem-solving tools and their practical application.
