Load Calculation Engineer Grid Code

Your Tasks:

 

  • The role requires advanced knowledge of wind‑turbine theory, proficiency with aeroelastic tools such as Alaska, Bladed, HAWC2 or FAST, and solid expertise in load calculations according to IEC 61400‑1 (ed. 3 & 4).
  • The candidate will support certification activities, including documentation and communication with certification bodies, and must possess deep knowledge of global grid‑code requirements and their impact on turbine loads.
  • Basic understanding of component load requirements (blade, tower/foundation or drivetrain) and experience with Matlab are preferred.

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • ME/Mtech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Msc in Physics, or similar.
  • Bladed, Alaska, HAWC2, Flex5, Python, MATLAB
  • 5+ years experience in similar roles/functions
