General description / Misión:

The Lean Specialist will be responsible for implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Tasks  / Funciones:

  • Lean Implementation: Develop and implement lean strategies and initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other lean tools to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Kaizen Events: Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops to drive process improvements.
  • Training and Coaching: Provide training and support to employees on lean principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to implement lean projects and initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lean activities, improvements, and results.

REQUIRED PROFILE / PERFIL REQUERIDO (not mandatory for Division Europe)

Qualification/Training /  Titulación/Formación:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Complementary Training / Formación Complementaria:

Lean six sigma certifications.

Profile  / Perfil:

  • Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies, such as 5S, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Languages/Level  / Idiomas/Nivel: English & Tamil must, Hindi desired

Experience  / Experiencia:

+3 years’ experience implementing Lean in manufacturing environments

Desired blade manufacturing experience with proven track records.

Availability to travel  / Disponibilidad para viajar: Yes /Si o  No o YES (up to 50%)
