Group Lead Windfarm Control Operations

Your Task:
- Leading the India team of WFC Commissioning Engineers (functional and disciplinary).
- Having the mentality of a responsible engineer for Commissioning of Wind Farm projects worldwide.
- Global commissioning of Nordex groups wind farm controller (CWE & SGCS), mostly remote
- Area of responsibility: commissioning of wind farm controller, controller interfaces and preparation of grid code testing
- Regular contact and communication to the clients' experts to elaborate project-specific requirements, testing and solutions
- Gain experiences of running and closing windfarm controller projects
- Support of negotiations with customers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Testing and improving processes within the Windfarm Control Operations department together with the department leads
Your Profile:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology, Electronics, IT, telecommunications or other equivalent technical education
- Broad knowledge of wind farm controller tools and processes
- Grid operator interfaces and customer interfaces like:
- Hardwired
- Modbus TCP
- IEC 60870-5-101
- IEC 60870-5-104
- OPC UA
- DNP3
- Root cause analyses tools like wire shark
- PLC commissioning
- Grid Code Testing
- PCMS - Parameter Configuration and Management System
- Grid operator interfaces and customer interfaces like:
- Certificate to act as electrically skilled person are helpful
- Knowledge about wind turbine technologies is beneficial
- Self-responsible, structured and solution-oriented working
- Very good communication skills, strong planning- and organizational skills
- Fluency in English.
- Overall Expierence of 8+ years, with atleast 3+ years in WindFarm Commissioning related activities.
- German, Spanish or other languages are an added value
- Intercultural understanding, ability to work productively in multitask teams and team player attitude
- Willingness to go on business trips
