Global Sourcing Manager Electrics

Your Task: 

 

 

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for cabinet systems and related material groups used in control cabinet manufacturing within Nacelle Electric
  • Identify, assess, and select strategic suppliers to improve procurement efficiency and achieve sustainable cost savings
  • Drive and own the global homologation of assigned commodities, including supplier qualification, technical approval, and release in close collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations
  • Manage and continuously develop a global and regional supplier base, ensuring competitiveness in cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability
  • Lead and execute tender and sourcing processes, including preparation of RFQs, supplier comparison matrices, and award recommendations
  • Negotiate and conclude commercial agreements, including global framework agreements (FPA) and Development contracts
  • Drive and oversee cost reduction initiatives by applying strategic sourcing and value-based negotiation approaches
  • Perform comprehensive market analysis and supplier risk assessments to support strategic decision-making and mitigate supply chain disruptions
  • Support internal compliance requirements, including audit support and adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, quality, manufacturing, logistics, finance and service) and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Support supplier onboarding processes, master data updates, and coordination with internal procurement operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing, homologation, and change management processes, tools, and reporting
  • Represent Global Sourcing in cross-functional and international projects
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support supplier homologations, change implementations, audits, and negotiations

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification; alternatively, equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of relevant experience in Global Sourcing, Strategic Procurement
  • Experience working in an international and cross-cultural environment; experience in the wind energy industry is a plus
  • Solid experience in contract negotiations and supplier agreement management
  • Background in cabinet systems, switchgear enclosures, or electrical control cabinets is an advantage
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point; is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments
  • Highly motivated professional with a strong drive to achieve and exceed business objectives
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
