Advanced Software Quality Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Empower cross-functional implementation of the Advanced Quality Strategy in software development projects (IoT/SCADA, turbine control, windfarm infrastructure and wind farm software)
• Frontload software validation activities by implementing best-in-class testing strategies
• Continuous improvement of the software development process and adjacent processes.
• Coach and mentor the cross-functional team in applying cutting edge methods and tools

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent) in the field of Software-/ Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience (min. 8 years) in the field of software design, development, testing and validation ideally in automotive industry or aerospace.
• Knowledge in technical support and troubleshooting of IoT/SCADA/turbine control systems is a plus
• Experience in developing software for critical infrastructure (IoT/SCADA, control) is an advantage
• Solid knowledge in application of software testing processes & techniques (e.g. like ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119, ISO/IEC 250000 or ISO 12207) as well as root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods (e.g. 8D, Fault tree analysis, Six Sigma, …)
• Experience in software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing and relevant software packages (like EXAM)
• Profound project management experience: You have been delivering multi-national projects successfully for several years.
• Independent way of working across countries and continents: You will be our representative in global project teams!
• Ability to work on all organizational levels in a constantly changing environment: You are a structured and highly organized team-player.
• English spoken and written fluently is mandatory.
