Advanced Software Quality Engineer

Your Tasks:

  • Ensure business’ products and services meet internal and external customer expectations
  • Ensure that lessons learned are fully captured and re-occurrences of known issues are prevented continuously
  • Spearhead deployment of Advanced Quality principles and methods in software development projects by considering APQP4Wind baseline requirements
  • Support non-conformity registration and solution verification
  • Drive and support continuous improvement of business processes
  • Act as mentor and coach for bets practice deployment along cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. requirement specification, software design description, test and validation plans, failure analysis reports)
  • Ensure APQP4Wind compliance on Nordex module, system & sub-system level (component level in-scope of SQA/PQA) until end of 0-series. Full APQP4Wind compliance for start of serial production.
  • Monitor activities on component level and escalate non-conformance of APQP deliverables in development project organization
  • Drive implementation of key performance indicators (e.g. like FTR and QASL) measuring robustness of deployed software solutions

 

Your Profile:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree within a technical area, preferably also a master’s degree (or comparable)
  • English spoken and written fluently. Ideally, German or/and Spanish fluently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development, testing and validation
  • Profound project management experience
  • Proficient user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab
  • Have completed specific education and training in quality disciplines/tools, including: ISO 9001:2015, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management, PPAP (APQP4Wind), FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, 8D and SPC
