YOUR IMPACT:
As a Testing Technician within the Industrialization & PM area of Nordex Electrolyzers you will be responsible for designing and executing verification, validation, and acceptance tests for electrolyzer prototypes, in compliance with ISO 22734 and other protocols established by Nordex Electrolyzers.
You will be in charge of carrying out the necessary checks to ensure the safe operation of the electrolyzer and auxiliary equipment. Also you will participate in the initial stages of the project in defining the testing facilities, their commissioning, and the development of protocols together with the Nordex Electrolyzers technical team.
YOUR TASKS:
- Together with the Nordex Electrolyzers technical team, develop protocols compliant with ISO 22734 standards and define execution procedures.
- Provide support in coordinating construction work and adaptation of prototype facilities.
- Commissioning and verification of equipment and installations associated with the prototype electrolysis testing infrastructure.
- Participate in maintenance activities of the prototype electrolyzer testing infrastructure alongside maintenance technicians.
- Collaborate with the technical team in the design and execution of tests to verify the performance of both the stack and the Balance of Plant (complete H₂ production system), as well as validation and acceptance of electrolyzer prototypes developed within the company.
- Participate in and, when applicable, lead product and plant certification processes and tests.
- Analyze and assess potential operational failures, including performance and safety issues, that may occur in the developed electrolysis prototypes.
- Process data and prepare technical reports of results according to criteria defined by the technical team.
- Define commissioning processes and instructions.
YOUR PROFILE:

Background in Chemical or Industrial Engineering.

Experience in engineering activities related to the operation of chemical processes or pilot plants.

Proven ability in data analysis and performance validation of industrial equipment.

Background in technical office work, including assembly and commissioning of new developments and installations.

Valuable experience participating in research projects with universities and national and/or European consortia, particularly in activities related to hydrogen production.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to deliver presentations and lead/maintain meetings with international suppliers and clients.
- Knowledge of the following will be considered an asset:
- Explosive Atmospheres (ATEX)
- Operation of chemical pilot plants
- Data analysis and validation testing
- Maintenance of industrial facilities
- Hydrogen production
