Project Operations Coordinator (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

As a Project Operations Coordinator, you will manage the technical issues and Special Projects activities cost and purchase activities for multiple wind farms across all Customer Service Office (CSO). Lead the process for creating Purchase Orders requisitions (creation/tracking) within SAP. Manage invoices in workflow, process review for coding accuracy, cost allocation and invoicing review and control. Process reporting in SAP as requested by Supervisor for business review of operational KPI's. Communicate daily with Project Leaders to ensure all activities are being tracked properly. Weekly/monthly reporting of operational activities/KPI's as requested by Supervisor. Actively supporting areas of opportunity for Cost improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Consumption, GRs and invoice approval.
  • Ensures that all service orders are accurately completed and processed in a timely manner using SAP.
  • Orders parts and materials on service orders through reservations (PR) for blade repairs, SN’s, IRTs, Large Components Exchange, Special Projects or any parts needed. (SAP)
  • Coordinate cost allocation of third-party vendors to ensure that charges are applied to correct sub ledger accounts within the P&L control.
  • Support the team on Weekly/monthly reporting of service point operational KPI’s. (Consumption, GR, open material report, open PO review, Workflow)
  • Coordinate preparation of reports for Technical Issues Account. (Financial Reports, Re-classes, Risk Provisions)
  • Support preparation of monthly accruals for Technical Issues Account.
  • Support Technical Issues Account. Support on Budget/Forecast revision and control.
  • Support investigation of technical profit/loss variances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree or vocational experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ wind energy industry experience desirable 
  • Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, reporting, spreadsheets, databases, email, and internet.
  • MS Office suite (Excel, Word, ppt.), SAP R3, JD Edwards, Maximo, misc.) software tools experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with remote support groups, some of which are international.
  • Ability to use data processing software.
  • Excellent problem solving and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and business managerial skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional, positive working relationships both internally and externally with employees and external customers and vendors.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and have the ability obtain a passport to travel internationally.
