Blade Services Coordinator (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

 

As a Blade Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for the support and coordination of NXIS Mexico and Brazil techs within North America. This is achieved by clear and concise communication with team members, suppliers, and customers. This position will be located in Texas and includes travel guidelines as required to support the team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of field teams:
    • Define technical and operational guidelines
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
    • Organization of the people structure
    • Develop, support and evaluate the performance of the blade team

 

  • Management of resources and the O&M process for blades:
    • Process definition and mapping
    • Definition and management of performance KPIs
    • Purchase and management of materials/tools
    • Support the travelling technicians managing the accommodation and vehicles

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration
  • In absence of degree, 5+ years equivalent work experience
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Basic knowledge in MS Power BI
  • English (fluent)
  • Spanish & Portuguese (working proficiency)
  • Wind rotor blades repair knowledge (previous engineering role in blade repairs a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to organize / prioritize work, to meet deadlines
  • Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels
  • Prepare plans and reports as needed
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ability to work within a group/team setting
  • Experience working on inspections and repairs of wind turbine blades at an operational level
  • Experience with multicultural and multilanguage work environment
  • Experience in coordinating projects and teams
  • Ability to travel often within North America (80%-100%)
  • Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
