Repairs and Warranty Expert (m/f/d)

  • Analysis and initial checking of the reverse logistic of all Nordex windfarms
  • Assistant and support to Warranty Specialist of other regions and other departments.
  • Assistant to different departments and areas about failure rates & supplier´s repair service.
  • Coordination with our workmates of Technology management to improve our own workshop.
  • To improve sales with other options to customer as exchange, offer repaired items instead of new ones.
  • Manage Return Material Authorization from suppliers.
  • To refurbish defective units from other departments.
  • Search new workshops and suppliers to offer a best repair service.
  • Search information about failure of defective units.
  • Management of the Commercial Incidents.
  • Study in each project’s agreement all terms and conditions of warranty
  • Develop and implement procedures, processes and methods promoting problem prevention techniques and continuous improvement with suppliers related to Warranty issues.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to enhance supplier warranty agreements.
  • Perform analysis of key data sets to determine failure mode root cause related to Warranty recovery.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve wind turbine technical issues leading to excessive warranty claims.
  • Employ statistical analysis to analyze methods of inspection, testing and product quality, and evaluate records and prepare reports containing results, conclusions and recommendations of suppliers on workload.
  • Monthly KPI of Reverse Logistic.



Qualification/Training: Master or university degree

Complementary Training : Technical degree or equivalent work experience and training.

Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time.

Ready for taking the lead, maintain momentum and deliver results.

Persistent, determined and resilient.

Excellent analytical thinking.

Strong sense of organization and planning.

Languages/Level : English C1 & Spanish. German will be valued.

Experience: Turbine and wind energy fundamentals will be an advantage.

MS Office proficient

Knowledge of SAP will be valued.
