Blade Operations Manager (m/f/d)

DEPARTMENT:  Project Management (Site Management / Erection / I


  • Managing of external service providers for inspections and repairs of rotor blades in a defined region (Transport & Installations)
  • Technical Responsible for regional service providers management
    o  leading of blade volume tenders
    o  Lead the service providers qualification
    o  Collaborate with responsible tender organization
    o  Prepare and lead negotiations with service providers
    o  Planning of blade works
  • Main contact for internal interfaces and external customers of the defined region
  • Compare quotations and invoices from service providers (rotor blades) regarding commercial and technical aspects
  • Create regular reports for example to management level
  • Daily managing of external service providers performance in the field
  • Technical, commercial and organizational interface for NX internal and external requests
  • Participation and collaboration in creation and optimizing of processes, concepts and technical and non-technical subjects
  • Provide trainings and share your knowledge
  • Create and approve documentation (e.g. work instructions)
  • Technical analysis and evaluation of blade related documentation and incidents (e.g. inspection reports, repair reports) and derivation of measures. Communication of the measures to the respective requestor. 
  • Perform field controls



  • Related studies or comparable assimilated knowledge through experience 
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in operational blade service business is required
  • Good knowledge of production processes and materials of blades
  • Experienced in managing complex systems & processes
  • Basic knowledge of relevant MS Office is necessary
  • Basic knowledge of relevant SAP 
  • Excellent English and good Spanish skills
  • Convincing manner towards external and internal parties
  • strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Systematic problem-solving behavior and trouble shooter
  • Result orientation and high level of customer orientation
