Tender Manager (m/f/d) Analytics

We are looking for a Tender Analyst to join our Project Management Organisation in Division Europe. The Tender Analyst will report to the Director of Tender Management (Division Europe) and will be responsible for managing the Costing and Budgeting tool for PM activities across the division.

 

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Manage the Sales Calculation process for PM/EPC in Division Europe. This includes costing for logistics, crane and installation, site infrastructure and activities, balance of plant, QHSE
  • Ensure that all Tender Managers are trained in the tool and the process
  • Provide a portfolio view of the calculations and budgets – monitor consistency of application
  • Collate updates from other functions for the PM Calculation tool in line with the process
  • Work with Commercial Project Management function to develop processes for feedback from executed projects to ensure that our budgeting is as realistic and competitive as possible
  • Provide data on metrics and KPIs for the Tender Management Team
  • Provides reports and recommendations to the Divisional PM management team

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Experience of a similar role – Ability to demonstrate the required experience/education
  • Could be suitable for someone who has worked in a Commercial Project Management or Project Cost Controlling role
  • Excellent computer skills are required, especially MS Excel and databases
  • Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and SAP would all be advantageous
  • Ability to take complex data and present a succinct overview of the key points to suit the audience
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Must enjoy working with data and be able to manipulate and work with data in excel and other programs
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to understand a construction project program and how the budgeting process interacts with the programming process
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships and work with other functions to ensure accurate and up to date data quality
  • Ability to work across different cultures
  • Willingness to go on business trips within Europe
