Strategic Lead Buyer (m/f/d) Spare Parts

The mission of this role is to develop global sourcing strategies to achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers to assure the fulfilment Nordex-Acciona Windpower (NAW) Service Organization material requirements in all areas. The main tasks are the following:

  • Interface and coordination between Global Sourcing, suppliers and the NAW Service organization to ensure material availability for the preventive and corrective windfarm maintenance
  • Negotiating of framework and contract agreements for Service Fleet (spare parts, Aftermarket service…)
  • Close collaboration with Service-SPM dept. in order to guarantee the best understanding of business needs and objectives
  • Management of tenders for suppliers: RFI, RFQ
  • Quotation analysis, management of commercial conditions and contracts definition with suppliers
  • Work on developing and implementing cost reduction programs (COE-Phoenix)
  • Ensuring and optimizing medium and long-term spare parts availability in close cooperation with Service-SPM, Technical and quality department.
  •  As a corporate function, support geographical business units, assuring the needs and queries(spare parts localization, global negotiations, purchasing processes)



  • University degree in Economics, Engineering or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant work experience in strategic purchasing activities, preferably in sourcing of spare parts
  • Profound knowledge of contract law, as well as experience in selecting suppliers
  • Very high negotiating skills - especially in price negotiations   
  • Good user skills in SAP and MS-Office   
  • Very independent, structured and goal-oriented work with a good sense for interdisciplinary context  
  • Strong intercultural skills
  • Fluent language skills in German and English, Spanish would be a plus
