Value Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated professional who contributes to improving our competitiveness and profitability by reducing costs and increasing value for our customers in collaboration with other departments.

You will join a team of value and cost experts with in the Global Value Engineering being part of our Global Sourcing organization.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Development, assessment and implementation of ideas to reduce costs and increase value
  • Preparation, alignment and presentation of decision memos for the management
  • Initiate, plan and execute internal and external cost-/value workshops
  • Cost and value engineering for selected parts and systems including supplier on-site potential analysis
  • Support strategic procurement in preparing und executing negotiations with suppliers
  • Leading of a interdisciplinary Cost of Energy team within the Nacelle as part of global program with reporting to top management
  • Interface management between Engineering, Quality, Production and Global Sourcing as well as suppliers in a global environment
  • Collaborate within in the Value Engineering team to continuously improve and develop methods and tools

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree (Diploma or Master) in Engineering, Business Administration and Engineering or a comparable field 
  • Several years of professional experience within manufacturing industries or within related consulting services
  • Professional experience and traceable track record in leading interdisciplinary projects and teams for cost and value optimization
  • Strong analytical skills, innovative mindset and team player 
  • Knowledge on cost and value analysis/value engineering
  • High degree of proactiveness, motivation and readiness for action as well as communication skills and assertiveness
  • Profound knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Excellent in English, German and/or Spanish is a plus
  • Competence to work in cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Willingness to travel (max. 20%)
