Material Manager (m/f/d) Installations - Limited to 18 months

DEPARTMENT:  Logistics / Material Management

We are looking for a maternity leave replacement in our growing department. The position is therefore limited to 18 months.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Central contact for materials needed on wind turbine construction sites
  • Create and track project-relevant material orders in SAP
  • Monitor and keep on-time delivery and actively manage potential bottlenecks and delays
  • Interface activities between installations and service
  • Support for local material identification of spare parts
  • Analyzing and optimizing PM inventories taking into account exchange groups, variants, and historical consumption
  • Cooperation with the relevant, adjacent departments (e.g. Service Spare Parts Management, Production, Site Management) in operational and process-relevant issues
  • Create project-specific material management plans
  • Participation in material-relevant coordination meetings
  • Continuous improvement of processes and data management
  • Additional tasks and projects related to material management

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed studies (e.g. industrial engineering, logistics, mechanical engineering, business administration, etc.) or commercial/technical formation with further qualification
  • First relevant experience in the management of materials and/or logistics
  • Very good knowledge of SAP MM and MS Office required
  • Business fluent English and German language skills, both spoken and written, further languages are an advantage
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Strong team player, keen to help and support others
  • High degree of dependability, resilience and assertiveness
  • Ready for continuous improvement
  • Good mix of operational hands-on mentality and strategic thinking
