Head of Steel Tower Sourcing (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

  • Functional and disciplinary management of a team of Global Sourcing Manager in the area of Global Sourcing for Steel Towers
  • Global responsibility for the result of the commodity of Steel Towers
  • Development of global commodity strategy to achieve material costs savings through detailed analysis of the category portfolio, including global consolidation of spend across all geographical areas
  • Work closely with cross functional teams in the development and execution of new material qualifications
  • Negotiate conditions and global frame agreements with strategic suppliers
  • Generate commodity intelligence and market knowledge
  • Benchmark potential new and existing suppliers in all regions
  • Report monthly KPI report for responsible commodity
  • Manage supplier relation and contracts
  • Monitor and master supplier performance
  • Master supplier selection process in line with material group stakeholders
  • Develop the team to achieve Best-in-Class Results
  • Develop, steer and generate complex, strategic and company wide projects

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Degree in Business Administration or similar
  • At least 5 -10 years of relevant experience in strategic purchasing
  • Analytic skills, pronounced cost-, quality awareness
  • Conceptual and dertermined way of working with high focus on target achievements
  • Solid technical knowledge
  • First leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication- and teambuildingskills
  • Proactivity, assertiveness, professional appearence
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication with people from various cultural backgrounds
  • Good at managing people
  • Structured, systematic and transparent approach to business processes
  • Business fluent in English
