Project Coordinator - Didsbury

DEPARTMENT:  Product Management

Job Purpose

As Project Coordinator, you will support the project managers located mainly in UK & Ireland with managing the sales project from contract signed to delivery and hand over to the customer. You will work closely with Tender, Logistics, Project and Commercial Managers within Nordex to secure the project.


Key Accountabilities

  • Provide support to the Sales team as required during the sales phase and participate in handover from Sales and Project meetings.
  • Participate in Customer meetings and site visits when required.
  • Assist Project Managers in preparing the H&S Plan and Environmental & Quality Plan.
  • Assistance with monthly, annual accounts and financial statements
  • Administration of time and service reports for site managers
  • Administration and coordination of subcontractors and sub-supplier contracts and purchase orders
  • Support to project managers with reporting and cost allocation
  • Request applicable Purchase orders from project management administrators
  • Work with Commercial Managers in arranging ESCROW agreements
  • Coordinate hand over to Service meetings
  • Liaise with HSE contractors in organising H&S equipment and documentation as per contractual obligations
  • Participate in internal meetings with project support team where required.
  • Run SAP BI reports as requested and required.
  • Reviewing key dates on the Project schedule.
  • Coordinate orders and deliveries with Site managers to ensure delivery at the right time and right location.
  • Coordination of multiple projects  
  • Site works preparation; welfare facilities, in conjunction with Project Managers and Site Manager.
  • Assisting the project controllers on project closure
  • Closing out site specific as-built documentation


Career/Job Experience

  • Significant experience as a Project Coordinator, within the wind energy sector and/or similar industries
  • Experience working across an international business model Strong knowledge and appreciation of the technical, commercial and political aspects driving the wind industry


Education and Qualifications

  • Leadership and management skills
  • Excellent computer skills are required, especially MS Office and MS Project
  • Valid driving license
