Within the department “Hydrogen Business Development”, this person will be part of the team in charge of developing hydrogen projects which will involve integration as a whole system of hybrid wind, PV, green hydrogen and e-fuel synthesis. His/her mission will be solve technical issues related with ammonia, methanol and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and CO2 capture and storage. This person will be in charge of relations with equipment manufacturers, engineering companies and Nordex hydrogen team.


• Selection, techno- economical evaluation and relations with synthesis of methanol, ammonia and Fisher- Tropsch fuels international manufactures.


• Selection, techno – economical evaluation and relations with CO2 capture and separation processes international ttechnologists and manufactures.


• Defining with synthesis technologists and/or contractors the integration systems needed between synthesis plants and hydrogen plants, such as, electrical systems, safety systems, compression, and storage devices (hydrogen or any raw material for processes of synthesis).


• Coordination and supervision of external services of Engineering, Procurement and Construction with a direct relationship with both synthesis of methanol/ ammonia/Fischer-Tropsch processes and CO2 capture.


• Plan & control, task execution and deadlines within of projects assigned.


• Collaboration on the deployment of documents within public call for research/demonstration projects



Qualification/Training : Technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial and chemical engineering or equivalent.


Complementary Training: Specialisation in chemical process engineering, training in safety of chemical processes and training in chemical process simulators (Hysys, Aspen plus, Promax…)


Languages/Level: English. Fluent. Capability to make presentations and manage negotiations with technicians and manufacturers.


Experience: Proven experience in industrial developed projects related with ammonia, methanol and FischerTropsch synthesis and/or CO2 synthesis and capture. Proven experience in process engineering projects related to chemical plants. Experience in coordination and supervision of external services of Engineering, Procurement and Construction and turnkey projects.
