Tool Development Engineer (m/f/d) for Wind and Site Assessment Processes

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Tool and method development for designing wind park layouts (site assessment)
  • Development of webbased front-end-applications and back-end-services
  • Maintenance of SQL data bases
  • Documentation of results
  • Quality assurance of existing and developed tools

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Master’s degree in physics, engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Preferably 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid mathematical understanding
  • Experience in development of webbased applications with C#/ASP.NET and Angular/React mandatory
  • Good programming skills in python and SQL
  • VBA and Matlab knowledge is a plus
  • Experiences with relevant software such as WindPRO, WAsP, WAsPEng, OpenWind and CFD are a plus
  • Good written and spoken German and English, further language skills (Spanish) are a plus
  • Good communication and intercultural skills
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Distinct ability to work in a team and reliability.
